He correctly predicted the crash of the homebuilders in the summer of 2005, and in April 2006 predicted the real estate meltdown that's still plaguing the banking system and the US economy around the country today. In addition, he correctly predicted the stock market peak in 2007 and the bottom in March 2009. When he spoke at The Executive Forum in April 2009 his topic was "Solving the Great Credit Crunch." This time, he will explain to us the impact on the economy and stock market as "The Great Credit Crunch Continues." Richard began his career in the financial services industry in 1972 trading US Treasury securities in the primary dealer community. He became the first long bond trader for Bache in 1978, and formed the Government Bond Department at LF Rothschild in 1981, helping establish that firm as a primary dealer in 1986. This experience gives him the insights to be an expert on monetary policy, which he features in his newsletters, and market commentary seen on numerous web sites on the Internet. Richard's industry licenses include, Series 7, Registered Principal (Series 24), and Investment Advisor (Series 65). He has an engineering degree from Georgia Tech and a master of science from Brooklyn Poly. Please Note: The Executive Forum's mission is to provide a stimulating platform from which expert speakers can share their occasionally controversial views on current economic, business, political or social topics. Time is always allotted at the end of the formal presentation for a spirited Q & A session, during which we welcome the expression of alternative viewpoints.
