How else would one refer to a career that spanned playing in the Superbowl while working on his doctoral dissertation, various management positions with major oil companies, 13 years as Dean of a major business school, as well as a stint on the board of Beta Gamma Sigma? Certainly not: “Run of the Mill”. Professor Burman will review his experiences and what they have taught him in a variety of careers. He will share the lessons he has learned from his family, his high school and college experiences, his experience in football, his career in business, his experience as Dean of the Whitman School, and his experience as a member of the faculty and Department Chair of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises.
