Wendy R. Weidenbaum Bio

Weidenbaum Development & Associates is a consulting firm dedicated to developing leaders, managers and teams become their potential.  Wendy R. Weidenbaum, the founder and CEO, customizes each product based on client needs.

Wendy has successfully driven strategic organizational change and helped to build high performing teams and organizations by identifying and developing leadership and team capabilities, practices and skills required for success in today’s fast paced business environment. 

Prior to starting her own firm, Wendy held senior level positions in global organizations within diverse industries such as financial services, consumer products, healthcare and hospitality.. She was an internal consultant to senior leaders on executive development, organization performance, and talent management. 

She holds a B.S. in Education from Boston University and has a Masters degree from Columbia University.  Wendy has spoken at national and international conferences for the Conference Board, Linkage and ASTD.  Wendy has presented on such topics as “Getting Ahead,“ “Networking” and “Take Charge of Your Success: why are You Stuck?” at both the Financial Women’s Association and 100 Women in Hedge Funds.

Wendy has co-authored two articles in Hedgeworld.com titled, “Managing Talent When You Would Rather Be Managing Your Business” and “Assimilating New Employees to Manage Your Risk”.  She is an adjunct professor at New York University and is currently teaching the classes, “Management Strategy and Communications,”  "Transitioning to Management" and "High Impact Decision Making."

Wendy has her Professional Coaching Certificate issued jointly by Baruch College and iCoachNewYork. She is qualified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and FIRO-B instruments.

Her expertise in Leadership and Management Development includes executive coaching, facilitating team building interventions, developing and executing high potential programs, and designing and instructing leadership and management skills training programs and off-sites
